Terry_W, Age 43, 7DW Level 1, Introduction

About two years ago, one of my three sisters discovered HPS in her search for a cure for the debilitating esophagus pain and spasming she experienced nearly every time she ate. I'm pretty sure she tried everything in the way of Western medicine to no avail. It was actually difficult speaking to her on the phone some times - this is one of the toughest people I know, so she must have been in agony if she was complaining about it.

Anyway, the good news is she discovered HPS, quickly progressed through 4 levels, lost weight, looks great, and hasn't has a pain or spasm since her first week on the program. Needless to say, her entire family is enormously proud of her and thrilled at how dramatically she restored her health. Now, two years later, her kid brother is following in her footsteps.

For me, HPS is not so much a way of correcting an existing medical condition as it is a means to avoid one in the future.
Though I'm 30-40 pounds heavier than I should be and don't exercise nearly enough, I don't smoke and am in good health - that is to say I'm free of pain or disease. I do, however, have a pretty scary family medical history which includes cancer - both parents died from it, my dad when he was not much older than I am now.

I have an incredible, wonderfully supportive wife and family and though I work long hours as a writer, I absolutely love my job. I have always been a self starter and a fairly disciplined person - my goal for 2004 is to apply that discipline to my health.

I start my pre-cleanse on January 9th and my formal (black tie optional?) on the 16th. Though I can't say I'm looking forward to sticking a tube up my butt twice a day, I am looking forward to the benefits I know it will bring.

I'm sure we'll all be talking soon.

Terry,

Welcome to HPS. You probably know that this is the right place to take control of your health. I lost 35 pounds that didn't come back from my first two cleanses. You may even find that sticking a tube up your butt twice a day is not so bad. You get a good return on your investment.

Black tie is definitely optional!

Hey Terry -- welcome to HPS!

I must say, I never considered that putting a tube up my butt was on my top ten list of things I wanted to do...but after running 250 gallons of water up there...it doesn't seem so odd anymore.

You don't have to be sold on the health benefits -- but you may be surprised at all the mental and spiritual benefits that follow along.

Enjoy the ride!

Love and light,

David

Hi Terry,

Just wanted to welcome you. I lost 47lbs. in the last two years, but much more I've gained control of my health and bad habits.

Once you get started on your pre-cleanse, you will be enjoying the benefits that come from this program. I look forward to following your progress......

Love and Light,

Stephen_C

Welcome to the group Terry. You’ve seen family members benefit, so you know where you are headed — you’re right about heading off disease — good move.

Welcome and is this perhaps the beginning of a family legacy?? Hopefully as a family you and your sister will pass the knowledge that we all have the ability to control our health and lives on to the next generation. What a wonderful thing. Glad you're here.

Hi Terry,

Just wanted to say welcome to the group. You have a great attitude for this and I'm sure you are going to be very happy with the results. My best advice is to enjoy the process. It is different for everyone.

Happy 2004 and I look forward to reading about your journey.

Wink

Don't worry Terry,

The sticking the tube up your butt part will become second nature. I'm a guy and I got over it.
