Hello everyone. I have finished my first 7-Day Wonder Freedom cleansing here at HPS, and wanted to take my time to reflect on the changes that this has brought about into my life before I posted my testimonial.

I am not a person who usually speaks before he thinks, so this testimonial has been coming for a few weeks. I have been writing it up and saving it in a text file on my computer until I felt I had a full and accurate reflection of everything that has happened to me with the 7-Day Wonder cleansing. I wanted the big picture, if you will, and I wanted to write about it with as much detail as possible.

So, for those of you who have been awaiting my testimonial for a long while, I apologize for the lateness of it. I wanted to be able to express how HPS and your dedications have changed my life for the better. To anyone "on the fence" about coming to HPS, please read this through a couple of times. Joining HPS will be the best decision for your health that you have ever made!

To those who do not know my previous health history from my intro, here is quick list of primary ailments that caused me to get off of my tail and start to actively participate in my own health care:

1. Allergies
2. Fatigue
3. Always very hot, sweating for no apparent reason
4. Weight yo-yo-ing (up and down, up and down)
5. Heartburn
6. Cysts
7. Lack of energy
8. Procrastination
9. Constipation
10. Headaches
11. Attitude

As you can see, I HAD many problems. What is scary, is that a large percentage of the population as a whole has many of these same health issues. A lot of people looking to get rid of health problems such as these search online and come across HPS. I did.

It took me a while to recognize that these health problems were a result of poor decisions that I have made in the past. Looking back and reflecting on Dans book, I can see that I am now reaping what I sowed so many times over the past 10-20 years.

Alcohol, poor food decisions, and voluntary immersion in environments where the air and water qualities were not the best on any given day. It is because of those decisions that I must take full responsibility for the quality of my health. This program helped me recognize this, and adjust my thinking and attitude about my health.

With that being said, I searched for a while and tried different quick fixes to keep the symptoms of the problems at bay.

It wasn't until a lonely night in a Las Vegas hotel room where I was laying in the bed suffering some bad indigestion that I realized I really needed to get my act together. So I began searching online and was eventually led to HPS.

I read the site a few times over. I looked into the accessible areas of the forums, and at the testimonials and I said hey, these people are having most of the same problems I have been having.

Then I noticed the dates of the postings. The same people who have posted testimonials several years ago, boasting of health changes, are still posting to this day.

Those people having had several years of experience, were still reaping the benefits of their continued cleansings. Not only that, their level of dedication to others here at HPS really astounded me. The initial prices is what made me hesitate, but something just "felt right" about HPS. I tend to have very good gut instincts, and this one was as strong as ever. So I went ahead and made the purchase, and delved into the information.

I took my time to absorb as much of the information as I could. Being in the IT world and consulting, I am used to following things by the number and am good at what I do. One missed step, and you can bring someone's business to it's knees. It's this striving to not make mistakes that has caused me undue stress before, during, and after my cleansing. With the help of others, I have learned to recognize internal negativity caused by a useless pursuit of perfection that isn't needed for cleansing. Cleansing is a learning process and a personal growth process. I know now that everything doesn't have to go by the numbers...

Like I said, I have been writing down tidbits and thoughts here and there for this testimonial and wanted a complete before and after picture for anyone who comes to this site searching for a remedy to their body's health problems. In reflection of those notes and all of the changes that have happened to me, I can now accurately say AND believe that there is NO OTHER PLACE LIKE HPS. If you want to get well, you need to be here.HPS has changed 34 years of food and health psychology ingrained in me since birth. It has changed it for the better. I wish that the information lovingly taught here at HPS was part of every child's school curriculum throughout their entire school life.

Of my original health list, here is what has happened in my life.

1. Allergies - almost completly gone!

2. Fatigue - A thing of the past!

3. Always very hot, sweating for no apparent reason. Not as hot nor sweaty. More often feel cooler and that has helped me change the thermostat and save me money on my electric bill!

4. Weight yo-yo-ing (up and down, up and down) - 20 pounds lost and still dropping, even after adjusting my food intake to foods I love!

5. Heartburn - Have only had it twice in the past 6 weeks, vs. daily! And those two times were due to two poor food choices (including a soda).

6. Cysts - I have always had several of these on my body. Many are gone, ALL are shrinking!

7. Lack of energy - More energy now than I ever had before. So much, in fact, that I have actually been overworking myself and recognized, THANKS TO THE HELP HERE AT HPS, this very fact and am in the process of toning it down.

8. Procrastination - With the loss of fatigue and the huge increase in energy, I now DO things instead of DON'T things.

9. Constipation - Not anymore! Everything comes out so easily now, and so clean that there is usually not a mark on the toilet paper!

10. Headaches - A thing of the past. Only when I ALLOW myself to become stressed do I even start to feel pressure in my head. Having a clean body and a good, strong, active immune system has allowed my body to quickly rid itself of more of the free radicals caused by stress so that the headaches don't even have a chance to begin. I haven't had a migraine in over 6 weeks!

11. Attitude - This one is near and dear to my heart. Having realized that it was my decisions that brought my health to the point it was prior to 6 weeks ago, I began to take full responsibility for those actions and it was a huge relief for me emotionally to confront that. In addition to this life-changing realization, HPS has given me the tools and support I needed to help me become a brighter, more optimistic, and definitely more self-loving person. My self esteem has sky-rocketed and a lot of people I know have noticed this change, but can't seem to put their finger on it. I am told a lot now that there is something other than my appearance that has changed, and that they just can't put their finger on it. It's my attitude and outlook on life. I am now happier and more satisfied with my life now than most anytime I have ever been. I feel more loving and grateful for my family and friends, and have a brighter outlook on the future as well.

My father, whom I was taking after at an accelerated pace, passed away a couple of years ago. He died of a massive heart-attack. What I realized after coming here to HPS was that a lot of my habits were identical to his, and that I was beginning to suffer the same problems I used to hear him complain about, though he was almost 30 years older than me. In other words, my 34 year old body was experiencing symptoms that he didn't experience until he was in his 50s. Looking back now, I can safely say that I would have not gone another 10 years without a serious, life-threatening illness or heart attack.

Once your health begins to go like mine did, things get worse pretty quickly. I have stopped that ball rolling downhill and am strong enough now that I can push the ball back to the top of that hill and make it stay for a very long time. So thank you, HPS, for giving me my life back and for giving me back to my family and friends. It's something I may never be able to repay. I just hope that I can be as dedicated as others before me have been, and give love and support to others hoping to travel this life-changing and life-saving path. I look forward to continued cleansings and to helping out others who take the plunge and decide to change their health for the best...I don't say for the better because that is not a strong enough statement for these health changes.

When I look back at the monetary cost of joining HPS, it absolutely pales in comparison to the costs I have already spent on doctor's visits, medications, supplements, and therapies. Most of all, it is definitely less than the cost my funeral would have been, and I do not say that lightly. I wish I would have found HPS before my father passed away. I truly believe he would have made a turn in his health and been here to post with me today.

Well Dave, that pretty much says it all for a 7DW Level 1 cleanse, I think. It appears your drive for perfection in all things has affected how you've approached your testimonial too, but it certainly has given us all a lot to reflect upon and be very grateful for. Normally I would probably have more to say, but I think your post speaks volumes all on its own...not just for the length of it, but your emotion and gratitude is very clear to see as well.

Remember, it's not accurate to say that you "have changed," as such; a better way is to consider that you have begun a process of transformation, and what you see now is not the end of the journey, rather it's a beginning. Some of your various symptoms may go through a yo-yo process for a while before stabilizing, but you'll know when there are seeming setbacks that in fact deeper changes are taking place.

So with that in mind...Well begun!

Hi Richard,

Yes, transformation is the way to look at it. The body had been transformed to the state it is in over the years, and it will take a while for it to transform back to the proper state it should be in. Yes, I am very grateful for the help, and sincerely do want to give back and help others. Realizing that everyone is here for their own particular health reasons, they want to see themselves get better. I don't think anyone paid just to contribute to the forum just for the fun of it, and without going through the processes themselves. Through reading and contributing to others' posts here, I have also made other discoveries and realizations myself that have benefitted not only the other person but myself as well. Having started and completed just the beginning of my life-long journey, I am now better equipped to help others just starting and making positive and helpful contributions, and giving encouragement to all.

One last note, yes, I do belive also that some of the symptoms will yo-yo a bit. The allergies have done that from the start. Also, the chapped lips are a come and go thing as are the white tongues. It is a long process my friend, but a worthwhile one all the same...

Just remember, you're already and at all times perfectly equipped to help and give encouragement to everybody here, from the newest newbie right on up to Jos-hua himself. All it takes is a cheering word from the sidelines, a simple indication that you're reading along and sending positive wishes, even questions, whatever you've got, that's all it takes. You don't need and aren't expected to solve anybody's problems, it's all just a simple matter of mutual support. Don't stress over it, don't spend hours trying to come up with something helpful if you don't know how to help. In short, don't make it hard. This is a fun group to participate in, not a burden.

And that's not just for your clarification; I think a lot of new cleansers and quite a few prospective members worry about what kind of "duty" participation in the group is, but it simply boils down to a network of mutual support and care that is always there for you. People bring what they have to the table and share that. Sometimes it's just a sentence or two, sometimes it's a detailed description or insight. You give support when others need it, you get support when it's your turn, and you never wonder or worry that you'll be left in the lurch when you need help, just as others know they can count on you in return, again, not for answers necessarily, just basic care and encouragement. That's it.

Hope that puts things in a better perspective.

This brings closure to your 7-Day Wonder intro, your pre-cleansing and your formal cleansing experiences... now we move together into your 7DW post-cleansing and we walk the path together, no one leaning on anyone, for if it was like that, if one person falls, the other falls too, so the way this program is structured is that no one dependent on any one person (and certainly not on me), but as you said "together, we all walk the path together", helping people survive, and thrive.

Congratulations! Some of these things spoke to me quite directly. Taking the responsibility for the state your health has gotten to is one that I think is so important. From what I've seen it seems to be quite a common theme throughout at HPS.

I notice, even though I usually try to eat healthy, I find myself sneaking a coffee, or a soda, and somehow just writing it off as unimportant or insignificant, and not owning up to the price my body pays for it.

And maybe it's most important not that you lead the "cleanest" "healthiest" life, but that you take responsibility for what you're doing and do it consciously.

hey David, glad to see the detailed description of all that has transpired for you even though you've only just finished your first 7-Day WOnder cleanse....imagine what is to come in the future with your continued dedication....wow.

and now Dave, you know as well as i do, and all of us here at HPS colon cleansing, that none of these positive changes happend for you by JUST studying some books, buying a colon cleansing kit, popping some herbal pills or medicine, and doing some colonic irrigations.

and none of these positive changes are going to sustain themselves by reading more books and websites, or buying and trying more supplements, vitamins or medicine, or once in awhile doing more colonic irrigations...or by just returning to your prior unhealthy lifestyle.

those positive changes are going to sustain themselves because you are going to continue to take the right actions day in and day out for as long as it takes to get your lifestyle into a mode that naturally and with ease supports a healthy, vigorous, energetic, and radiant life.

just yesterday i was talking to a friend, just two days ago her mother was diagnosed with a heart problem that requires daily visits to the hospital--and they don't know yet what the source is, so visits and tests daily, lots of money being spent...just out of the blue.

my friend has her own minor illnesses of which she is seeing her own doctor for. she is recieving medicine but little else.. and she is taking the medicine, but doing little else. what problems are going to be solved by JUST taking medicine, even if the symptoms disappear?

if she takes only this medicine, eats a bit better, sleeps a bit better, sees some improvement in areas that are most important to her, but then returns to the lifestyle that initiated the illness, what good is just that medicine?

her mother has probably just been taking medicine

what good then are just those colon cleansing kits, and supplements that other colon cleansing sites are offering?

in the long run, no good. they provide nothing real in the long run. just a quick fix sale for quick fix buyers. nothing from the heart, no dedicated support, no sustainable change.

day in and day out, with dedicated support and guidance from experienced cleansing friends, one has to practice being healthy, one has to practice self-healthcare, one has to practice the appropriate actions.

Thank you so much for being so patient and so thorough in explaining what you've experienced. You're really pouring yourself out here and that in itself is a lesson for me.

My mother passed away last year and although my life is very different from hers - she went through war time and had a stressful marriage - I've been having to deal with some of her health issues. And watching her go through what she did over the last 5-10 years is not something I want to experience. HPS has given me hope for a healthy future - even at my "young at heart" age! There's no better gift than that!!

Right on Alan, the part that I bolded above seems to me really to be the crux of the issue... getting our lifestyle into a mode that NATURALLY AND WITH EASE SUPPORTS a healthy, vigorous, energetic and radiant life.

That is the crux of this community, helping to make congruent the teachings with our daily lives... and that is so important I think if we want to meet success with the NATURALLY AND EASILY SUPPORTs part of the equation.
