HPS 7 Day Wonder Level 1 Freedom Cleanse Testimonial One Year Later 1. Success I went thru the whole process with out much trauma. I was a little weak around day 3 and 4. I was most surprised by the fact that I was never hungry or had any cravings for food or great temptations to cheat on or quit the program at any time. I am still somewhat amazed by that. 1.1 Reasons for Success 1.1.1 Followed Program recommendations Took Time off From Work It was recommended that we schedule the cleanse at a time when we did not have to work. I can say flat out I could not have done the cleanse and worked. I would get up at 6 am and go to bed at 10 pm and I was busy all day long doing what was required, preparing supliments, juicing, writing the diary, going for messages, going for steams, mild exercises, brushing, and short rests in between, colemas, and cleaning up. When I would get to the end of each day I would say whew!, I made it but just barely. Followed Diet Summer Time 1.1.2 Knowledgeable and Competent Program I do not have a lot of comparative experience to make this assessment, but I still make it. I think Jos-hua and his circle of cleansers in his HPS program are the most knowledgeable, with personal hands on experience to pass on and share, that there are on the planet. You can see a doctor who only knows what he has been taught, or you can come here and take advantage of what these people have learned and developed by personal experience. I watched, thru the HPS posts as Jos-hua guided people (in very trying and per carious situations) with a steady hand through their troubled health and got them on solid ground. It is a no brainer for me. The saying I like the most is to the effect: Health Care here is Self Care. I know it is not for everybody but is sure rings true to me and has worked out great. I am very thankful for Jos-hua and this 7-Day Wonder Freedom program. 2 Benefits 2.1 Beginning Conditions 2.1.1 Guts had problems Stomach Discomfort Nasty gas Stools very sticky Digestive process could take as long as 48 hours 2.1.2 Eczema Itchy Skin rash on most every area of my body Doctor pushing on me to take Cortisone injections 2.1.3 Snoring Using a CPAP machine I snored so bad that my wife could not get a nights sleep, so I used a CPAP machine most every night in order not to snore. 2.1.4 Vitamins Taking $1 to $2 worth of Vitamins Daily. I used to take numerous vitamins. They were helpful and needed. If I forgot to take my vitamins in the morning I could feel a lack of fortitude and energy by noon. 2.1.5 Weight Weighed in at 152 lbs. I was very active. I played ice hockey three times a week and worked. I thought I was fairly trim and had no desire to loose weight. 2.2 After 7DW Level 1 2.2.1 Guts had problems No Longer Stomach Discomfort The only stomach discomfort I have since my level 1 cleanse has been after not food combing or eating dairy and sweets. This does not happen very often. The physical benefits of staying on the program as apposed to the discomfort when you go off are enough motivation to keep you on the straight and narrow most of the time. There is one good thing about falling off the wagon, at least you know there is a wagon and you can get back on. Nasty gas gone After the 7DW level 1 program I no longer experienced any gas and my stools no longer had the same offensive smell. Stools very sticky No Longer. After the 7-Day Wonder Cleanse my stools were very loose and would wipe clean, they no longer left tracks in the toilet bowl, and clean up was much easier. I would evacuate much quicker and the time spent in the bathroom was substantially reduced. I would say I picked up on an average of 5 to 10 minutes a day. Doesn't sound like much but over a longer period of time it is a big deal. Digestive process could take as long as 48 hours Now 12-24 After the 7DW Cleanse the time for me to pass what I had eaten was anywhere from 12 to 24 hours. 2.2.2 Eczema Itchy Skin rash on most every area of my body has gone away. A week after the 7DW Cleanse my eczema was reduced by 80%. After 9 month of food combining I would say at least 80% of the time it went away to the point I cannot detect it, although I think it is still there but I cannot feel it at all any more. Doctor pushing hard to take Cortisone injections Not a Chance. The doctor was pushing on me very hard to take Cortizone treatments. My mother had a bleed stroke and some said it may have been caused by weaking of her circulatory system my the cortizone she had taken over the years. So I did not feel cortizone was even an option for me. I strugled for months using different creams and lotions getting some relief. I think the eczema had a silver lining and that was that this is what pushed me in the direction of HPS. 2.2.3 Snoring Only Ocasionally Using a CPAP machine I have not used the CPAP machine since my 7-Day Wonder Cleanse. I am not sure I would know how to use it at this point and I dread the thought of ever having to use it again. I snore every once in a while now and my wife will sleep in the other room. I have come to the belief that snoring is directly related somehow to your digestive system. If I eat ice cream it is almost a sure thing that I will snore that night. I know I should not but every and then I do eat ice cream. I do not know what to say. 2.2.4 Vitamins None, big savings. Taking $1 to $2 worth of Vitamins Daily. During my 7DW cleanse I stopped taking all vitamins and suppliments. I have not taken any since. 5 to 6 days a week I freshly prepare and eat a large rainbow salad. By large I mean large, it would fill a 1/2 gallon container loose. As I am chopping up the vegetables for my salad I think to myself, vitamins just pure vitamins. I believe they are signifigant in controlling my appetite and allow me to stay on the program fairly faithfully. I feel they are meeting my dietary needs and therefore I no longer have the old cravings I used to experience and give in to. 2.2.5 Weight is down and constant Weighed in at 152 lbs. After the 7DW cleanse my weight had dropped to 139. Then it worked back up to 142 and my body reestablished its set point there for about 9 months. I believe a fair amount of it was crap in my system not fat. I have never been this light in my entire adult life. It has been an unexpected pleasure to be this light. It allows me to do things better than I could at a heavier weight. Namely surfing and water skiing has become easier and more fun than ever. Thin is nice but light is great. 3. Conclusion As you can see HPS has worked out very well for me. If I were to give anyone advice from my limited experience, I would say listen and pay attention to what is advised in this program and follow it to the best of your ability. It has sure has had a positive effect on my quality of life. |

Nice to read John that a year later after your first HPS guided 7DW cleanse, things are going so strong for you... real nice to read that. And that of course explains why you are ready to take the next step in this guided journey, into advanced cleansing, into an HPS 7 Day Wonder level 2 program. I look forward to solidifying all the great successes of the past year, and going to the next level, to a type and quaility of health that you never imagined possible at your age of 59, and that your peers couldn't even dream of. And it's all a lot easier than everyone imagines! HPS guided cleansing, here with you for you helping you help yourself John. Peace,

Wow, John, what a great detailed post you've written here! It's clear you've been paying attention and taking notes in the year since your cleanse. Like Jos-hua says, Level 2 is the next step, and with all the good work you've done in this last year, you can't help but succeed in a big way. I look forward to seeing you get started.

John, wonderful testimonial!
I'm very glad to hear you've improved in so many areas. Besides having our names in common, I too experienced improvements in pre-existing stomach complaints and skin conditions. Sounds, like many of the lessons you've retained as well such as the food combining principles. I hope you will continue into advanced cleansing. Although it has been a year since your last one, don't let that deter you. It was about a year between my first and second cleanses as well. In a few days I will be embarking on my level 4. The point is to keep the ball rolling no matter how little or long it takes. Quote:
I can certainly relate to this. I will say however, just like anything else practice makes perfect or at least a whole lot easier. You'd be surprised on how much easier the 2nd cleanse would be even a year later. |

Hi John! Great to see you're back for another round! You had quite a remarkable experience with L1 - it's amazing to read that many of the problems have just not come back! Good for you to be continuing with a good diet and enjoying life so much. I look forward to watching your progress for L2 and I'll not be surprised if, afterwards, you give us another long list of benefits. Happy cleansing! love, Dorothea

Was just rereading your testimonial / program review again John, and the above really resonated with me when I read it right now... thanks for making that insight for others on the sidelines! ![]()

Hi John,
How great to read about your experience a year down the road after your first HPS cleanse. Having rid your body of somemany of the ailments is fantastic, so many people simply maintain a never-ending struggle and hope that medication will 'fix the problem'. I hope people visiting this site, or considering taking that first step and getting on to the HPS program are inspired by reading you. I wish you well with your next step - your Level 2 HPS cleanse, and look forward to cheering you on from the sidelines. |
