This testimony comes at a time when a lot is going on in both my outer as well as inner world…which makes the timing of this cleanse all the more right on time….

In my outer world business as well as personal affairs has been extraordinarily active. In my business, especially these days, so many people rely on me for the protection of their businesses or livelihood and to some degree lives that it has had me putting in some 16-hour days of late. Couple that with drama-filled and dynamic dealings on a personal level and it equates to an enormous expenditure of mental & physical energy.

In my inner world on all levels of consciousness it seems the activity, drama, and dynamic dealings have been no less intense…. 2 of my 5 goals or habits to develop…included becoming aware of what my mind is up to (thoughts & emotions…programs); and challenging all fears by doing that which I seem to erroneously fear.

Well let me tell you folks…I now know why they say “be careful what you ask for,” and can attest to, as many cleansers of the past have no doubt discovered, that the toxic thoughts, programs and other mental garbage within can be as, and even more, revolting then anything you find in your colander during a formal cleanse. To quote one of our fellow cleansers whom I think said it well:

And from what I saw in my toilet after the home colonic irrigations my colon was pretty packed too....and some of us around here tend to think there is a connection....

To list some of the physical manifestations or benefits derived form this cleanse:

• My energy has increased exponentially since the inception of my 1st formal cleanse (and I somehow perceive intuitively that this is just the tip of the proverbial iceberg in this area).

• My eyesight has sharpened.

• My BM’s are more consistent and regular.

• My body responds quickly to foods and awareness of this response has become more acute.

I also felt that after all the good work done for the body, there was also a great deal to be done for the mind too. And as the two are interlinked, it's vital that we look at ways to initially stop the build up of more toxic thoughts and mental garbage, and there on to start reducing them.

Hi Perry,

It's great to hear about all the benefits and improvements in your life since finishing L2!

I've also found that my faith grows during a cleanse ... the laying aside of regular activities and food consumption frees the mind and spirit to focus on our relationship with God (and people) - especially when we spend extra time praying and meditating. It's during those times we realize there's still a lot of junk inside that needs purging. Of course, the New Testament writings told us this all along - it just took a little extra push from HPS to get us in there.

But those 16 hour days sound heavy - it makes me feel sad for you. It's hard when other people are depending on you; you feel like you can't let them down. But that can lead to overworking. And that can lead to wearing you thin. And that can lead to you not being able to help others as much as you'd like (including your lovely wife). I hope you have a chance to step back more often and survey life. I suppose it's the elusive "balance" we need to find - "in" the world, but not "of" the world.

This I am sure of and I suspect the later, the mind, is the main culprit…directly and/or indirectly….

Well said and so true Dorothea. All of these points came up in a recent discussion with my wife, for she too has been putting in these kind of hours and it is wearing us both a bit thin, as you put it….

What a stunner of a testimony! I've found myself reading and re reading your words. Each time I'd think, "Wow. This is really amazing." I'd want to write a reply but I'd just let it go... I was in such awe, speechless.

So, I'd come back the next day and the same thing would happen...and the next day.

It's exactly how I felt about your above 7DW level 2 program review / testimonial.

I felt that your testimonial was really real... and you were too... ... not just the writing or the words, but you too, as if you are more comfortable in your own skin in light of the journey here at HPScleansing to date.

For those of us who have the pleasure to be walking this cleansing, rejuvenation and wellness path with you here at HPS, well, for us, it is easy to notice a discernable difference in your writing, both in the tone, words, content... while the initial humor was pleasant and endearing to most people here at our community, I personally never commented on it... I was looking to see the really real, the deeper parts of you... and over the past two 7DW cleanses, I am seeing more and more of it, and enjoying more and more of it, and learning more and more from it...
