Hello everyone!

My name is Michael Bowling, I am a student of business administration in British Columbia, Canada. I am another self diagnosed victim of the Standard American Diet (SAD). I have been 'surviving' on processed foods for about 24 years now and I have been feeling for a while now like it is time to make a change!

As a result I went searching for information on fasting/cleansing. I was surprised at how little information was available on this subject. However, when i came across the HPS website I found myself in the middle of a sea of information. After I read through a lot of the info I knew this was a program worth participating in and looked to sign up immediately. When I first saw the price my reaction was 'whoah!' But outlined a number of times on the site is how worth it the program is for future health benefits (and avoiding the costs of future sick care). The saying came to mind "An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure." And after reading through some forum posts I was sure that this was at least an ounce of prevention!

Over the past year, in a sad attempt to make up for the lack of nutrition in the food i've eaten, I got caught up in the herbal cleansing trend, buying hundreds of dollars worth of products to "make things better." I know now that this is only a part of the process and I can look forward to much better health benefits by combining herbal supplements with a cleansing/fasting program that is not only guided by tried and true methods, but supported by those around the world who have practiced it as well.

Overall I would say that my health is good/average, but mediocre in comparison to how good it COULD be, and that's what i'm going for! My goals now are to become as healthy as possible, and this program is the beginning for me.

I am looking forward to getting to know you all, so please don't hesitate to give your advice or share your experiences in the weeks to come, I am totally open to it!

Welcome to HPS and congratulations for taking control of you health at the ripe old age of 24... I only wish I had come across a program like this when I was at your age. As you journey onto the cleansing path you will come across many of us here that have experienced some the problems you have encounter and conquered then with great accomplishment and improvement to their health and overall being.....

Follow the program closely and you will be amazed at the change that will take place in your health.....

Actually, if it was just "have practiced" that might mean a lot for most people... a lot of value... but here, it's even more, much more, because we are not just "has beens" but rather "present and accounted for"... we are practicing.

There is a big difference between having experienced something, or even having practiced something when compared to "practicing".

Not just in a quantitative manner, but rather from a qualitative perspective.

Health, unlike most other things in life, is constantly changing- minute to minute, moment to moment, week to week, month to month, year to year. To cover all the bases, all the minutes, we need to be "practicing"... having "practiced", unfortunately, just isn't enough if we are going to lead you into discovering what we have with our health and well being.

Every person that you see whom has a title under their name - "7DW Master Faster" - is someone who is practicing.

And as they follow this program year in and year out, they easily can plan the next steps in their health care, then measure, and then improve.

So Michael, as you can see health care isn't anywhere we go to, but rather it about where we are at and what direction we are headed to.

Hey Michael, welcome! You've made a very wise decision in taking up the HPS Freedom Cleansing program, and it's clear from your remarks that you already understand that deep change isn't going to come from just spending some money and popping a few pills or supplements. The good news is that once you get started, get to reading the experiences of other cleansers, recent arrivals and master fasters alike, get into that participation in the group, you really get a sense of the possibilities.

I wanted to augment this thought somewhat with a notion I've just recently come into contact with: one of the unchanging laws of existence is that nothing ever stays the same. Every object, person, and circumstance is constantly evolving and moving into a different state. Nothing EVER stays the same.

Your health and enjoyment of life is no different. Logically it follows that if your health is not improving, then it must by law be deteriorating. HPS Freedom cleansing gives you the tools and the support you need to make sure that you're moving in the direction you want. All that's needed is the choice to make it happen.

And you've done that, so congratulations! Just remember, here at the beginning of the process you might at times feel a little overwhelmed with all the things that need to be purchased, read, gotten comfortable with, whatever, but the truth of the matter is that once you get started, it really is a pretty simple matter. Agreed. I see you're one of the young wise ones who realizes the sooner you get on a healthy path, the better and the cheaper it will be. And believe me, I know from experience; that even as a Canadian, you will save yourself thousands and thousands of future dollars by following the program here! (If you follow it through to the end)

Yea, I said 'whoa" at the price of the program and went even farther by emailing angrily, complaining to and demanding of Jos-hua an explanation of the price

Needless to say he responded in an appropriate way that completely resolved my intention to join....part of what got me was his sincere yet very direct no bs response to my negative email. I could feel his positive intentions.

Sometimes the "no bs" direct approach seems aggressive, cold and indifferent, but I think Michael you have been through enough bs and provocative promises with all of the cleansing herbs etc that you know there must be another way to be guided toward regaining your optimum health.

And there is another way, so, welcome again. I hope you too gain infinitely from this program, this group and Jos-hua's extremely devoted and no bs approach that has guided me through these five years of becoming a personally responsible health practitioner. That support and guidance, daily for five years, is worth a fortune.

Thank you all so much for welcoming me to the forums. I am very excited about this program, I have ordered many of the books recommended by HPS so now I am just patiently waiting for them to arrive.

You've made a very wise and bold step in the right direction my friend..
This is where we all get a chance to claim good health..
and dump the excess negative baggage so to speak.

Re the books please don't go splashing around and reading them all right away.

The one you MUST get well acquainted with is Dan Reids THSL.

Also, you will get advice about when to read any others in your
NW series.

One last thing these books are not just books they are PRACTICE books.
Esp Dan's.

My advice would be to roam around like your doing for now, thats very good
your doing that.

Hello Michael,

Let me just add my voice to my HPS colleagues an say welcome - you’ve made a very wise decision.

Stick with it all the way and the results in your health both physically and mentally will likely astound you.

I finished up a level 4 in August and can assure you it gets better with every cleanse, each builds upon the last…and each brings surprisingly new benefits.

So get what you need together – schedule your cleanse and enjoy.

It is good that you had a chance to try out some of these products before coming here as you will quickly come to understand how they are just a quick fix with limited results compared to the quality and depth of results that can be achieved at HPS. I also went through the same process!
